Mr Duncan Anderson
Mr Duncan Anderson
Appointed to the Board of RSL(WA) in 2018, Duncan was elected as State Vice President and has been State President since 2021. Duncan is the Deputy National President and director of RSL Australia.
Duncan runs his sheep farm in the Southwest of WA and currently serves in the Army reserve as Commanding Officer Western Australian University Regiment. Having completed 15 years of full-time service, Duncan deployed to both Iraq and Afghanistan.
Duncan has broad experience as a director and is currently a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors Western Australian Regional Advisory Committee. Duncan has been appointed as the Chair of Regional Development Australia – South West, a member of the board of TAFE Directors Australia.
Duncan is a graduate of both the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Governance Institute, having also completed the Executive Fellows Program run by the Australian and New Zealand School of Government. Duncan holds a Bachelor of Arts and is a graduate of Canadian Forces College, Joint Command and Staff Program.
Duncan has two young children and enjoys training dogs, camping and the gym.
