JOIN ‘Volunteers FOR Veterans’
Be part of our RSL WA Volunteers for veterans and contribute in various capacities to support our mission, including:
- Street appeal collections - helping to fundraise for the ANZAC and Poppy Appeals.
- ANZAC Day Dawn Service - providing event and public information support.
- ANZAC Day Parade - Carrying banners and flags for the older veterans.
- Poppy Ladies - Our loyal volunteers, affectionately known as the Poppy Ladies, actively engage in ongoing work by creating knitted poppies. These poppies are used throughout the city in various installations for Remembrance Day, including the garden bed around the Flame of Remembrance for the Commemorative Service on 11 November each year.
RSL WA is always in need of volunteers to help us in making a positive difference in the lives of those who have served and continue to serve our country.
