Digger

The Shire of Gnowangerup installed these permanent features to honour the Shire’s brave and fallen.

The installation includes a laser-cut silhouette of a soldier and metal poppies, as well as a restored tractor named ‘Digger’. The poppies have been designed so that discs can be installed in the centre of each with a loved one’s name on it.

Digger the tractor is also part of the Shire’s Horsepower Highway, a trail of vintage and quirky tractors extending from Boomehill, through Gnowangerup to Stirling Range National Park. Explore the Horsepower Highway map here.
