Poppy Day Street Appeal 2021

Unpublished

RSLWA are seeking support from schools and businesses across the WA community to help fundraise during our annual Poppy Day Appeal.

This annual appeal, conducted in the lead up to Remembrance Day, will be held this year on 5th November. The tradition of Poppy Day began in the UK in 1921, 100 years ago, and started in Australia in 1923.

All Poppy Appeal donations go directly into assisting veterans, and their families, in need. The importance of these funds continues to be highly relevant as we support veterans of recent conflicts, such as Iraq, Afghanistan and East Timor, alongside the aging population from past conflicts.

RSLWA will provide all merchandise for our community and school collectors free of charge. At the end of the appeal, we ask that all collected funds and containers are returned to RSLWA.

For community business collectors, you can order merchandise by filling out the online form located here: Business Merchandise Form. This needs to be completed by 13th September.

For schools, you can order merchandise by using this online form: School Merchandise Form. This needs to be completed by 13th September.

Following the appeal, we request you submit the funds raised by completing the Financial Statement form: Community Financial Statement. This needs to be completed by 15th November.
