Back to the Barracks (Lecture Series)

Andrew Pittaway is a Military Historian responsible for establishing the Fallen Diggers group who work to identify soldiers from the First World War. Andrew will talk about some of the soldiers he has identified, the process involved in his research plus the role of the Unrecovered War Casualties Unit of the Australian Army and the Commonwealth War Graves Commission in deciding on their cases. The museum will also be open extended hours so your ticket includes access to our galleries.
